Our client is a leading multinational company specialized in developing technology solutions for the QSR industry is looking for experienced “C++ Software Engineers” to work in their South Africa office immediately.

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C++ code
• Work closely with other engineers to develop new products
• Work on extensions of existing products
• Suggest and implement improvements on current products
• Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing modules
• Hands on of algorithm complexities
• Development of the next generation software
• Basic Database systems - indexes, filters

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Proven work experience in Software Development.
• 3+ years of extensive experience in C++ (Windows desktop) and working with Git, Jira, Confluence is required.
• Proficient in reading and writing Python as well as C / C++ (Java is nice to have)
• Experience in advanced software design using OOA / OOD and patterns.
• Working knowledge of database development using SQL (MS SQL Server is preferred)
• Configuration management through the following tools: SVN / GIT, Jira / Confluence
• Release and deployment design – Consider the rollout process for Cloud, On-premise, and IoT devices.
• Ability to code software according to the published standards and design guidelines.
• Effectively manages changes to work tasks and the work environment and assists others with adapting to change.
• Effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
